I use this under the carpet for sounds management on my office mezannine which is made from fibercement board. FYI – It’s very heavy stuff! But has solved the problem of impact sound which was very irritating.

I purchased this product to quiet the sound of water in PVC waste pipes in my duplex house. The plumbing is constructed in such a way that the PVC pipes run under the slab to the exit conduits. I wrapped it around the waste pipes as recommended by Aural Exchange. The result is nothing short of amazing. Earlier we could hear water coursing through the walls and ceiling after a toilet was flushed. I never imagined that it would work so well. My PVC pipes are now as quiet as cast iron pipes.

I’m an acoustic consultant and I’ve used Tecsound for years, but got this because it was almost half the price and I found this to be a reputed brand from Europe. Easy to work with and great results!. I recommend it. Use a high strength adhesive like SR or Speb 7 to hold it up – regular glue wont work. Glad Aural Exchange is raising the bar by introducing so many cool products 🙂

Used 2 layers covered with Gyproc Habito board. I stapled on each layer with a pneumatic staple gun. My neighbours kitchen wall is unfortunately our bedroom wall too. THEY ARE EXTREMELY NOISY PEOPLE & BANG A LOT OF STUFF AROUND EVEN AT NIGHT. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. We never hear our neighbours anymore. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS STUFF. It is super heavy to put on the wall, so you need to people, so not to hurt your back. This is a godsend and we appreciate the excellent advice given by Aural exchange team.

Got the product in one day – so that was as fast as Amazon prime! I’m using Viscolam 35 for making membrane bass traps, which is not really to block sound, but instead to act as a dampener for a particular frequency. Still struggling to get the results. Material is good, well packed.

Amazing stuff. Two layers on the door and windows down my space cut the sound to almost zero in my home practice studio. Drumming bleeds through just a bit, but the difference is night and day. Worth every rupee. Very heavy and needs two people to handle – I’m using Viscolam 100, which is the top variant.

I received this item yesterday and installed it with great difficulty as it is very heavy. Now it’s dead silent in my recording studio and no noise bleeds out even when I turn up the volume at a high level. I definitely recommend this!
