Much more convenient than silicone because that stuff doesn’t work for large gaps. My carpenters have been using this liberally while building my studio and it’s been a godsend. I sealed every gap and crack I saw. For a 200sq.ft.studio + dubbing room I used up 5 cans. After the foam solidifies it looks ugly but you can use a paper knife to flatten it out so that you can apply your finishing fabric or panels. Really takes the guesswork out of soundproofing.
