NeoFill acoustic foam is used as an acoustic infill layer for resonance reduction for in-frame insulation, stretched fabric applications, and making DIY acoustic panels. Our acoustic foam is manufactured to high standards, provides a high volume weight, is porously foamed, and is thus optimized for acoustic insulations. Additionally, all of our foams come with flame protection and provide therewith a plus of safety.

What are the benefits of NeoFill foam?
As you can see on our website, we offer various types of acoustic foams. NeoFill is a high-quality PU foam that is manufactured with a particularly high density of 48 kg/m3, has the smallest pores and an optimised pores per inch ratio. The high density is conducive to a long service life (normally 15-20 years); the small micro-porosity ensures improved absorption, because sound waves are caught and absorbed better and more intensively in foam; and we have optimised the base/profile ratio by means of reverberation chamber measurements so that you can realise the best possible sound in the room. All in all, this sound absorber represents a premium product.
The panels have a very uniform and even colour, and the thickness is accurate upto 0.05mm. The foams also feature a flame-retardant finish to further increase safety. It is sensible to use a foam that is at least flame-retardant, especially in the vicinity of electrical appliances, sockets, etc. The price is slightly higher than local foams, for example, but the quality and the absorption levels are outstanding. If you are planning a more professional application, or want to mount the foam for a longer period (for longer projects) and have very high expectations regarding the acoustic development in the room, you should choose our NeoFill series.

QUICK SUMMARY: Worked to deaden the reflected sound in a small nook of my bedroom that I’ve turned into a recording studio.
BACKGROUND: I’ve turned an unused wardrobe space in my master bedroom into a home recording studio. The built-in space is walled-in on three sides with a large mirror behind the countertop. Without treatment, the sound was reflecting off all the hard surfaces. On a recommendation, I ordered NeoFill instead of going in for pyramid and wedges. It worked! The space I’m working with is approximately 3′ x 3′ x 4′ (Depth). Two sheets of 100mm were enough and my recordings are crystal clear. Ashutosh was helpful in explaining how I can cut the foam cleanly by myself.
INSTALLATION: To attach the Neofill to my walls and mirror, I used Fevicol Heatx.
PERFORMANCE: After installing just the squares on the three walls, I sampled my voice above the foamed walls and within the foamed walls. It was very, very noticeable the difference! My microphone Rode NT1 is picking up crystal clear sound, with good depth. My client ( a leading audiobook company) tells me the recordings are up to the mark.
CONCLUSION: I’m not a musician or recording artist, just somebody who has a need to professionally record my voice at home without a big investment. To me, getting my room setup in under Rs 10000 really worked well.
