Product Description
Nankarrow WoodWeave™ made up of pine wood and cement composites. During the production of WoodWeave™ wood wool panels, long, fine wood fibres are pressed with a mineral bonding agent into a light multifunctional panel. WoodWeave™ wood wool panels combine all the good acoustic properties of pine wood. WoodWeave™ can be screwed on GI or wooden frame work and has excellent noise absorption with NRC upto 1 as per ISO: 354-1985 and ASTM 423-90 standard.
Applications
This board is essentially used in auditoriums, multiplexes, theatres, stadiums, home-theaters, schools, offices, malls, airports, hotels, railway stations, and many more. This panel is also used for partitioning and false ceiling.
Mainly used for sound insulation and absorption constructions, thermal insulation of lofts, one – and multi layer partition walls, permanent formwork for eliminating thermal bridges, flooring constructions, ventilated facades (with renders and coverings) it provides an impact resistant surface and a perfect base for renders thanks to the wood wool layer with cement binder.
Acoustic Properties
WoodWeave™ Wood wool slabs have good broadband sound absorption, which makes them suitable for all kinds of public gathering places, industries, etc. The 25mm thickness of the panels has been specially chosen for optimum acoustic-to-weight ratio and to improve sound absorption at lower bass frequencies. Sound absorption is also affected by proximity to other materials, so we recommend an air gap behind the panels. Designers and architects can personalize any installation with endless creative possibilities, Painting the slabs has a negligible effect on acoustics, so WoodWeave™ is fully paintable.

WoodWeave™ acoustic ceiling and wall panels are made from 100% natural materials; wood and cement. The combination of wood and cement creates WoodWeave™ unique sound absorbing properties, ensuring good acoustics in any room. The material has a natural resilience and can handle moist environments, while also providing effective fire protection. WoodWeave™ is a natural product with documented sustainability throughout its entire life cycle.
WoodWeave™ is our classic acoustic panel, used in most types of buildings. In terms of reaction to fire,WoodWeave™ has Class 1 Spread of Flame classification.
WoodWeave™ acoustic panels can be installed directly onto a wall, within wooden or aluminium frames or in a suspended profile system. However, they are most often installed with underlying GeoWool™ in order to ensure the best sound absorption (up to αw = 1,0!).
SOUND-ABSORBENT
The open material structure reduces reflection of sound and makes WoodWeave™ a good sound absorber. The material dampens noise and contributes to restful acoustics in residential buildings, industrial premises and public spaces.
A FUNCTIONAL, NATURAL MATERIAL
WoodWeave™ Acoustic Wood Wool is an environment-friendly, recyclable material made from wood wool, cement and water. The natural components together provide many functional characteristics.
MOISTURE-REGULATING
The moisture-resistant material evens out air humidity by absorbing moisture from or emitting moisture to the ambient air. This contributes to a pleasant indoor climate which is good for both comfort and health. The high pH value also discourages mould and the material is not affected by rot.
HEAT-ACCUMULATING
WoodWeave™ Acoustic Wood Wool stores heat from the ambient air and emits it when the air temperature falls. This contributes to lower energy costs, reduced environmental impact and a stable and comfortable climate indoors.
FIREPROOF
WoodWeave™ Acoustic Wood Wool is fire resistant and is type-approved as protective cladding with a class 1 coating.
LOW-EMISSION
Measurements show that emissions from WoodWeave™ Acoustic Wood Wool are extremely low. The strong surface can cope with vacuum cleaning, and use of the product in restaurants and other sensitive environments show that the boards do not emit dust or particles.

This is literally the best woodwool available in the country….superb finishing and performance. It is very classy but priced almost twice local woodwool. Don’t buy unless it is finishing layer – I am using on ceiling
