The Nankarrow NeoKit-II™ Room Acoustic Treatment Kit is designed for rooms up to 150 square feet, or can be combined with other Nankarrow products to treat larger spaces. Ideally suited for home theaters and home recording studios, these easy to use kits are an affordable way to start with acoustic treatment.
The NeoKit-II™ contains select Nankarrow NeoTrap™ , NeoFuse™ , and NeoMax™ panels that tackle problems affecting any room, such as primary reflections, flutter echo, and standing waves. In addition to acoustic panels, each NeoKit-II™ room kit includes instructions for easy installation.
Nankarrow products are made from open-cell polyurethane fire retardant acoustic foam, offering nearly five times lower weight than typical glass-wool/rock-wool based alternative kits. This means that you get more absorption with less mounting problems, while assuring an even absorption curve throughout the frequency range.
Applications : Can we used in home recording studios, dubbing rooms, Rehearsal rooms, Voice Over Rooms, etc. Multiple NeoKits can be combined for larger rooms.

On a tight budget, this seems to be the best product on the site for a small recording studio. It giving me good results in a room with literally no furniture except my desk and chair. I will add more products later.

bought this on the recommendation of a sound engineer friend. It has got a lot of panels and after installing it as per drawing on website I am sastisfied with the results. Free fixing tape is fabulous and made the installation very easy.

Let me begin by stating that I am a recording engineer and voice artist but have no formal training in acoustics. That being said, I recently made a small bedroom studio in my 13ft x 11ft room and followed the advice of Ashutosh from Aural Exchange in buying this kit. After installing the kit (which is truly beautiful) I simply played my favorite songs and mixes. I use Yamaha HS8 monitors. Whether strumming or fully orchestral pieces, this kit has made an amazing difference. The muddiness is gone and the sound is warm, clear and natural.
Recording vocals has excellent results and my voice is crisp and the eQ sounds natural. A word of advice…treat the room before applying plugins. If you are on a budget (and let’s not kid ourselves, these are EXTREMELY hard times) put your hard earned money into this kit. You won’t regret it.

Great product. Easy installation just like hanging a picture. The tape that comes with the kit is fanstastic. Just fix the tape in the approximate region where you want to hang panels. Then just place panels where u wish. As long as the tape gets hold of a piece of the back of tile your good. Super light weight. No chance of falling off. I chose the Neokit because I have a tight budget. Now I plan to buy those studiopanel broadband panels next. Highly recommend both products. Great team. Just give them a call or email and they will take care of the rest. Ashutosh went out of his way to analyse my room even though I had such a thin budget.

After installing my studio setup at home (Focusrite Scarlett Studio + Presonus Eris) I noticed a good deal of echo and booming so I contacted a few companies. Bought this kit because I got maximum surface area coverage and 8 bass traps…I at first thought to myself this could be over kill – however after completing my first voice over I was happy seeing how the kit dampened the room. Instead of speb I used some 3M double sided tape to fix the units.It worked great and I didn’t have to spoil my walls.
