Nankarrow Melsorb™ acoustic foam is made of melamine and is an excellent acoustic absorber. It reduces noise and resonance enormously within a room (or a hall) and ensures a quiet surrounding. Also the maximum fire protection in this building material class, is especially to be pointed out – as foam made of melamine meets the important DIN standard Din4102 B1 = Class 1 product (fire resistant) and thus can be applied virtually in any industry.
The reduced oxidation and physical resiliency of Nankarrow Melsorb™. makes it appropriate for use in classrooms, nightclubs, studios and more where physical contact with the product might occur or where the environment is less than ideal. In these cases, there’s simply no better product choice than Nankarrow Melsorb. Bought quite a few acoustic treatment foams for my interior projects. This time I had to deal with a high living room ceiling (too much resonance in the room, unpleasant, tiring conversations etc …). The part was new and I needed white panels that were light enough to stick on a gypsum ceiling. These are perfect from this point of view. And I got the desired effect (I treated a little more than half of the surface). My carpenter fixed them using Fevicol SR.Overall: one of the only truly white acoustic foam, unbeatable for the price; does the job!
